Pulmonary Rehabilitation at
Mississippi Valley

What may begin as a persistent, annoying cough or increasing shortness of breath may progress over time into a disabling condition that limits the ability to perform daily tasks and slowly decreases the enjoyment of life. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Mississippi Valley offers a comprehensive program for residents in the tri-state area that is designed for and dedicated to pulmonary rehabilitation. The program, offers a full range of services including ongoing education, support, exercise and maintenance programs.

Mississippi Valley is able to provide care for long and short-term ventilator dependent patients, as well as maintain a high wean rate for patients that had failed to wean in the acute care setting. We utilize three types of ventilators. All three are compact, portable, and allow for easier mobility and socialization for the resident.
